The National Support Centre for Agriculture (the KOWR) promotes high-quality Polish food at home and abroad. #KupujŚwiadomie is the slogan under which the KOWR conducts activities to encourage consumers to consciously choose products with food labels and certificates. These labels include: PRODUKT POLSKI (the Polish product) mark, the EU organic production logo and such EU labels as Protected Designation of Origin, Protected Geographical Indication and Traditional Speciality Guaranteed.
Every year, we organise the country's largest agri-food industry event, the Polish Food Festival #KupujŚwiadomie, as well as a cooking competition for rural housewives' clubs and associations, which involves presentation of traditional dishes in original versions. This is the cuisine of the best ambassadors of regional cuisine from every corner of Poland.
We also encourage producers to join food quality schemes, and we actively support local entrepreneurs in promoting their products. We shorten the path from producer to consumer and educate people on how to make the right choices in food selection. We influence the development of the entire food industry and increase the availability of high-quality products!
